Be You
don’t chase the shadow of approval
or bow to the weight of unseen eyes
let the world call you anything
wild strange defiant free
for they cannot name the spark
that dances within your soul
write with the ink of your truth
let it spill unmeasured untamed
every syllable a heartbeat
every word a testament
to the fire no algorithm can decode
what is art if not rebellion
a scream a whisper a song unheard
crafted not for perfections sake
but to echo your essence
to be a mirror of your bold imperfection
some may judge others may pass
their voices rise and fade
but the one voice that remains
is yours
and it is enough
so be you loudly softly
however the moment calls
be you because the stars don’t ask
if they shine too brightly
they just shine
