Be Worthy of the Gospel of Christ -Philippians 1: 27-30

Learn well to live a life of pleasing to God and the blessed Christ His son not just to the pleasure of man but go circumspectly forever to run Show your life in a worthy manner that Christ's gospel would appeal so whoever would look upon you would see Christ as the real deal Be sure to be always standing firm filled constantly with holy spirit divine having one mind striving for the faith fear not the opposition, be sure to shine God has called His elect to be strong believe and suffer indeed for Christ's sake this a clear sign for those Christ rejecters they'll face a real condemnation quake This is the same conflict as Paul spoke of in His epistles centuries before God's people still march to heavens door looking to Christ's open arms evermore ("Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel, and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God. For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake, engaged in the same conflict that you saw I had and now hear that I still have.") Philippians 1: 27-30 (ESV)

We should all take note of your meaningful, faithful write Gordon for one day we will have to face Our Maker and be judged - I feel that only the Mother Theresa's of this world and people who have worked for and helped others all their life are worthy, so where do I stand? I have recently met one of our new neighbors who visits hospitals helps the homeless and the poor, I know she is destined to arrive in God's kingdom. I love your poem. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Hi Jennifer, so good to hear from you again, glad you enjoyed my piece. Interesting what you say about those that are worthy to be accepted in God's kingdom, but scripture says no one is worthy for its only by God's grace that we're saved as we can't earn our salvation. So good to know we're saved by faith. Hugs and blessings, Gordon

Powerful sentiments expressed. As Christians, we would do well to take heed of Paul's forthright instructions to the Philippian Church.
