be too small

I know but little
   of God…
I see His creation
it’s breathtaking awe
   striking for its beauty
   its complexity
its unfathomable intricacy.

But my knowing be as nothing,
   smaller than a nanoparticle,
but a whiff understand
   of God

I be too small
and God
so unimaginably vast.

It is true the enormity of God is, sometimes, overwhelming yet awe inspiring. I believe, and have learned, that God's spirit is just as interested in the small, minute details - the nano-particles and the space in-between. The universe doesn't end with the blackness of space - there is another universe within us. So God is closer to us than we ever dare to imagine :) I love this poetic thought and your beautiful words, Sarah!

Thank you Sam! And I agree that we have a universe of God within us. I have heard that God lives us, and of course, if He didn't, we wouldn't be at all. It is an encouraging thought in the lonely times.

Agreed. God is bigger than our human thoughts!

... yes, Karen. Definitely... as so it should be. Thank you for taking the time to read and comment... it's been a 'good thing' for me today.
