Be Still My Heart Be Still
Depression borne of grief,
I can’t bear that you are gone;
But you are not, your presence is everywhere,
And cuddling in my empty arms.
Sometimes if I stare, I see you happy,
Trying to tell me you are, and
Another time, you lie sleeping,
So far, so far.
Many I have lost, but another
Would comfort me and my soul somewhat fill.
I cannot endure another goodbye,
Be still, my heart, be still.
