Be Still

Be still and know that the Lord is near,
tracing the length of each falling tear.
Like pearls of rain on a thirsty field,
there remains a priceless yield.

Be still and know that your heart is heard,
every incomprehensible word,
the sollumn substance of your soul,
every moan and groan unspeakable.

Be still and know that the birds still sing
in spite of all the suffering.
Each wing is as an angel's spread,
puppeteered by heaven's thread.

Be still and know that the Lord is King.
He, who spared not His Son, will provide a good thing.
Every wound is faithful as a friend;
behold how love and sorrow blend.

Be still and learn the Maker's heart.
Lo, who can know... how great Thou art?!"

Your poem beautifully weaves together themes of faith, comfort, and the profound mystery of divine presence. The repetition of "Be still and know" acts as a soothing refrain, inviting the reader to find solace in stillness and trust in the divine. The imagery of birds, tears, and rain connects the natural world with spiritual truths, reinforcing the message that even in suffering, there is a greater purpose and a divine plan at work.
