Be Proud of the Man You Meet

From the dark of night before the light
I rise before the dawn
I'd stumble out in the cold dark light
and walk in the cold night air

for the food of life provided
I'd pay with the workers hands
You ask me what is kindness
It's the love of a loving man

It's a Mother that stands brightly
with the guiding light of love
It's the father that says rightly
please learn my little man

That the greatest gift of kindness
Is to build your own success
please guide your steps with rightness
be proud of the man you meet
