Be Not Ready

be not ready got to keep it steady
how do i run without tripping sweat dripping racing blood pumping to fast to slow down without falling
to the ground hear the sound of my heart calling for rest at best catch my breath
up and running without stopping mapping the straight and narrow road
be not ready got to keep it steady
green light go reach my goal and stay gold
not finished but begin my do overs from the start never ending never resting
to reach my best knock me down from the ground all the way up i rise head held
high for those after before me will shine any given time there star will glow bright
and take up there birth right making me proud to be the light at the end of the tunnel
no rest for the worried for they keep hope alive for there future will flourish
with every heart beat sweat tear prayer our seed will rise as high as the clear blue sky
be not ready got to keep it steady
not racing running ready green light go all the way up turn up show up ready our not
we will rise together divided we shall fall much love to one and all past and future
