It doesn't take much to make a day matter
Just a sweet smile or a simple hello
can make a difference 
Because every minute of every hour        
somewhere out there 
someone is in need of human's affection 
Be my hero 
More smile 
Less judging

Everyone needs a hero/heroes. Sometimes we have to pull up our bootstraps and be our own hero. But then when you get to thinking about it, many heroes have come to us in reality in different ages, with strong messages to deliver, through verse and books, and through stories passed down...through fiction and reality, through religion (some through great sacrifice and cost to themselves), and politics (JFK and others), through family, through friends and community. A thought provoking and deep felt poem you have written here, a strong write. xx

everyone, needs LOVE and human affection. When they do not receive it, this is where it can all go awry. If some people had different, stronger, more noble, loving peaceful nurturing heroes, perhaps there would be some salvation for them and stopping them from harming others, and becoming monsters in their own worlds of hell (a few well known ones come to mind, eg Hitler, for one).
