Be Brave, My Little One
Hush, my darling, don’t you cry.
I know you’ve had it hard.
Life is far from fair and
never turns out how we plan.
One minute everything is perfect,
the next we’ve got it all taken away;
and when we least expect it,
our world crumbles before our eyes.
Our life is make believe,
nothing is for real.
What we think we hold in our hands
is illusion that vanishes into thin air.
Time passes. Life goes on
while skies and mountains hold the truth.
We are here but for an instant,
the magic is in their majesty.
Be strong and rise to the challenge:
you have yet peaks and skies to conquer.
