Be a Friend
Many have gone outside to find a friend, but could not find on there...
Some have gone outside to be a friend and found friends everywhere.
Many people you meet are hurting in so many ways...
For some pain and suffering fill up their days.
You can be a doctor of sorts as you fill the role you play...
Bringing words of cheer and encouragement as you pass along the way.
A smile will bring great joy too..
And what could be better than a hug from you.
So be a friend to someone and sow some seeds of love...
Remember that Jesus is smiling as He watches from above.
There is a hurting world all around...
And there is probably one or two in your hometown.
So open wide your eyes and shine your light...
Being a friend makes life right.
