Be

Be

if you wanna know the truth?
Than look no further, as I’m living proof.
Our story is epic, we are in the midst.
Our novel is not yet five years old.
But I promise you this.
If you give her coal, she’ll make diamonds.
If you give her contrition, she’ll make amends.
If you give her your deepest darkest secrets.
She will protect them like the best of your friends.
She will be as loyal as loyal gets.
Everything she touches is gold.
She is worth more than that, but I promise you this.
If you touch her in the right way, she will add to the list.

If you bring her your fidelity, she’ll bring you variety.
If you increase her peace and limit her anxiety.
If you marinate her in sincerity,
You’ll be served by her loyalty.

If you want the arc of love to bend.
Be like the mighty river, be water my friend.
Be open, be still, be cleansing.
Be light, be fire, be present, be safe.
Be a breath of fresh air, Let her inhale you as you waif - and linger.
Be her lyric, and she’ll be music to your ears.
Be the antithesis of her worst fear.
Be comfort, be her soul mate.
Be right on time and never late.
Be on purpose, as an intentional being sent here to find magic in the simplest of gesture. Be her fence, on guard to protect her.
Be her meditation, her prayer sanctuary, her counselor, a calming voice an intermediary.

Allow yourself to be vulnerable, Redeemed and bathed in her heavenly grace.
You know what love is like? it’s like, quite a sight to behold.
Excuse the hyperbole, but when you been touched by love. Every thing she touches shines like gold.
