Basking With Delight

Under shade of heaven, exposing a cheerful firmament… my special child, mirth-filled, basked with delight since he had in his possession, freedom-might precious more than gold for optimized play engagement. Midst temperate weather, calmed by azure sky… his boyish complexion welcomed sun-exposure while his untrimmed hair found beach-pleasure on that gracious vacation he had his kite fly high. Frolicking in the sand after his gracious revival lease my special child showed blissful praise-driven gratitude moving my faith, like bud, to bloom with patience-fortitude through God’s eternal* love while the Lord I seek to please.
*Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. August 2, 2019 4th place, "A Summer's Day Redo" Poetry Contest Sponsored by Michelle Faulkner; judged on 8/29/2019.
