There was never a stocking on a mantel at our house..Except for one year of my life, my Christmas consisted of one or two gifts...

Bare Mantel

.
                                                 Never was there one
                                        A stocking hung with care for me
                                                    Only simple tree
                                          Mostly placed  was gift or two
                                              Love abided simple food
