The Japanese Magnolia's blossoms are yellow brown from the chill of winter's cold..

Judy, We have had spring trees, bushes, and some flowers already blooming..Some of the fruit trees have bloomed out and maybe even set some fruit but we had a hard freeze last night with it going to be even colder tonight..Don't know the extent of the damage but I am sure that it has hurt some of them..Probably will be a smaller crop of peaches, pears and blueberries..Thanks for the visit..Sara

The "pinch" of winter can be seen on many of the plants and trees that bloom before the last frost. You create a vivid image in your lovely haiku, Sara. (Like the photo too. The Japanese Magnolia looks quite a bit like a "Tulip Tree."
