Balm of Desire
The fresh scent of laundry mixes with sandalwood incense
a prelude as it heightens the fragrance of wax on sweet wicks
from one hundred candles that dance on a ceiling of dreams
essence made in anticipation of skin rubbing on spicy skin
Shadows augment the senses and covet passion and pleasure
treasure the moment yield eternity as they consent to craving
tenderly embrace fondling desire and binding together of souls
experience memories and anticipation bring play to the fore
Rose gold of wedding bands click the rhythm of heart beats
rhyme the crescendo tie tides of promise and orgasmic glow
pheromones moan at the cusp of delight exude naked perfume
the best aroma ever is the radiant release when we make love
