Balm

cotton candy clouds

dot the evening sky

pink and lavender

peaceful and relaxing

the sunset soothes my soul

Hello, Chum. I was thinking about you today, wondering how you are. It's been quite a while since I saw you anywhere in the halls of soup. Hope you are well and that the family is all right. Is it spring on the Isle yet? We are finally getting a real taste of it here, in Ontario. Let us know how you are, if and when you can... PS such a sweet tanka... if I go by your tanka then you are somewhere relaxed and happy... cheers... you are missed!!!

Dear Francine, Those cotton candy clouds are always welcomed by the locals here. It's nice to know that no matter where we go, we can find solace in sunsets. Beautifully written, my friend. Love and best wishes for a Happy Easter, Carolyn
