Hi Sam - an awesome fun filled poem. Children love balloons adults too. Birthdays, graduations, engagements and births would all be a reason to hold a balloon, or hang balloons on light fittings for a New Years party or tie them on gates for a house warming, I LOVE BALLOONS. Have missed your comments my friend, not that I'm much better. Hope you are well .

This is so light hearted and merry, love the line 'joy on a string' - how can you not smile when you see a balloon :)

Hi Michelle! I originally wrote this for a children’s book. but I am finding it resonates with children of all ages with happy hearts ?? Such a wonderful feeling like having a balloon! Blessings to you!
