Balloon Skies

Early dawn breathes life,
Colorful spheres take their fill
Stealthy hands set sail,
Navigating open skies
Young and old look on in awe

Couldn't help but think of the annual balloon festival in Tallahassee, Milton. As a reporter I had the opportunity to ride in one of the balloons one year. What an amazing experience it is to look down as you glide peacefully over city streets and woodlands. Beautiful tanka that brought back wonderful memories! Love, Carolyn
