Balcony, a safe harbour - II

For families fond of a printed page,
Of books of interest, reading a rage,
And ah a few balconies as their host
With a mind that minds next to none, get lost.

A view without seems never so crucial,
But may get to look all the more rosy
When one within is way far from cozy,
The balconies make one calm and gentle.

A blessing they’re to today’s busy life
To hold together family from strife,
An extra lung to breathe in new vigour
That renders life an edge of a sharp knife.

A sanctuary to chill when chips are down,
When you ignore, burry nor can rid past,
But learn to live with it as duly cast
And make morrows if not green, black to brown.

Yet, times there are, even they cannot help,
If so, be bold, get back inside the house
And dance, dance and dance to your heart’s delight,
Some fires won’t get extinguished save with time.

If house mirrors give you unhappiness,
If windows too fail to lessen distress,
Retire to the refuge of balcony,
Unburden ere return to your cranny.

The house, made of walls of bricks, mortar beams,
Does when feel like a place of house-arrest,
If not jail, balconies, a place of dreams
Welcome you for a brief refuge and rest.
