Balassi Stanza - Man On the Moon

MAN ON THE MOON
...............................

the blue moon I sighted.
indeed was delighted!
I saw a man eating cheese,
he was, he waved, hello.
moon blue, his cheese yellow,
indeed, he was signing, please?  
my telescope was large,
he signed, want bread and marge.
I tell lies, I love to tease!
...............................................


This was written for the poems for a 7year old contest, I lost my way.

The Rhyme Scheme is: bbaccadda
Syllable count is: 6/6/7/6/6/7/6/6/7

You'd be wrong; marge. is an abbreviated form of margarine, a butter substitute in the UK. (goes nicely with bread and cheese), still laughing... Mick
