Balance

Perhaps people will argue with me
saying that's your interpretation
But I did not write the bible
Thou shalt not kill

appears to me means
we should not kill anyone
I don't know how you can
interpret it any other way

It did not say
you can kill people 
if it's for God
it said Thou shalt not kill

I did not write it
the God you say 
you believe wrote 
the ten commandments

The parable of the talents
I believe tells to invest Gods money
the Church believe 
that bringing people into the church

building Gods Congregation
is what he meant 
by investing in talents
but God said 

He didn't like people 
wasting his money
The one that simply 
buried his talent was punished

I did not write 
that parable of the talents
that was, the disciple's
repeating what Jesus told them

He said he could be 
a hard and cruel master
So I don't think 
I'd like to face him 

having spent his money
the parable of the good 
samaritan also come from the bible
and every Christian 

was supposed to follow 
the word of Christ
and look after their neighbors
like the Good Samaritan
 
So the Church being
Gods representation on earth
were supposed, to look after the people
they were supposed to help the poor

Monasteries in the fifteenth century
new about crop rotation
they knew how to keep the ground
healthy they could have helped 

The poor in Scotland 
build productive farms 
build arts crafts and products
and make sales to feed themselves's

Instead, they took the tithe
and used it to buy feather beds and luxury
With great power comes great responsibility 
The church taking Gods Money

Have a responsibility 
to follow the words of God
Thou shalt not kill
should stop the wars

Investing money could 
overcome climate change
creating work for the unemployed 
worldwide would overcome poverty

I'm not a chemist but 
if we take hydrogen out of the Ocean
to make Hydrogen gas for cars
we would be releasing oxygen into the air

Releasing oxygen into the atmosphere
help to repair an ozone layer made 
of three oxygen atoms linked together
I'm not sure if burning the hydrogen

would intern release atoms that again 
linked with the oxygen atoms
to again create more pollutions
you have scientists that have ideas

Ideas and knowledge better than mine
teaching people to become investors
linked with their ideas could create companies
to overcome the problems of the planet  

The Greenies are right we need the trees
Australian people are right we need to stop fires
we need balance
