I'm trying NOT to laugh out loud. Since - oh, yes, a miracle - my tot is napping ALONE and I get to read. Jack, congrats. Love this one. I love the tongue in cheek- neighbours/windbags. I am (as you have read) a HUGE fan of bagpipes. It's been a few years since we went to the highland games in Fergus, Ont. but ... oh ... the gathering of the clans... and then all the bagpipes ... marching .... playing Scotland the Brave... Honest, I WEEP. How the blood stirs... goosebumps. Beginners however...

LOL If you ask me, the neighbors are the windbags, Jack. The sound of bagpipes is so pleasing. There was a wedding in Tallahassee once and it was held outdoors. As soon as the union is proclaimed, bagpipe players emerged from behind bushes. It was lovely!! Winning wishes for the melody cinquain contest, my friend. Love, Carolyn

The bagpipes are not too bad. It's the persistent learning on the chanter that drives me crazy. Good luck in Nette's contest Jack :)

ha, ha, had to laugh. My father-in-law love the bagpipes, he is from Scotland. I like them too, but when they are good their are beautiful, when they are bad... yep not impressive. Congrats on your win. Lee
