Bad Timing

Bad timing When the day has been hot and long, when a letter tells me I have to put the car in for its yearly inspection and to check the oil and tires and you know you shall never make love to a woman again. When you hear about politicians who struggle to preserve their legacy, don't they know they will be remembered for the corruption they were famous for, and even more, their shenanigans will be forgotten also? When you go down to the garage to read the car tax disk and you wonder what you are doing there, to walk all way up and remember, and too pissed off with yourself to find this slightly funny. It is then you look forward to your secret vice playing solitaire, eat half a bar of chocolate drink two glasses of red wine; and say, I have free will, I can eat the other half of the chocolate bar if I want to
