Backyard Symphony
Through my window
I can hear
a morning chorus
Soft and clear
An orchestra
Of critters stirred
A buzzing bee
And chirping bird
A songbird solo
Sweet and pleasing
Trees that whisper
Warm air breezing
A symphony
To welcome spring
I’d lend my voice
If I could sing
