Backstabbing

People ask, they seem concerned But they don't know, they haven't learned These things they yearn to go and speak They speak these words you do observe Your feelings blurred Then comes back to you these words, they've swerved They gave their word, but took a turn Now who's to burn, these words they churn Your stomachs aching, your heart is breaking At some awful point you've been mistaking Who wasn't thinking, their heads are shaking Of disapproval, with no removal These words consume you, you should have knew who Perceptions unruly, words spoken untruly, actions unduly All this backstabbing has suddenly ruled me I'm angered, I'm scared, these people don't care Innocent reputation derailed Too late to see where you've failed And yet can't handle it well Stuck in a corrupted blind trail Acknowledgement of the fact That you can't take these words back At every angle attacked, speeches not even exact But as these words they are spoken No giving back such a token
