Backseat

Affection I once craved
Giving anything for the feeling of being loved, enough, and heard.
Flirting given as easily as breathing
Kisses given as easily as a simple hello
Sex given as easily as a hug.
Now it's takes a backseat to the rest of life.
Hugs are now far and few between
Kisses now scarce
And sex feels like a rare, endangered species.
