Back To God
I came to you when I thought nobody cared
and my problems with you I shared
as you hung upon your cross
I burdened you about my loss
and as you hung your head in pain
I cried tears without restraint
from my sorrow you did not turn away
but raised your head and cried for me instead
I knew that you would understand
his leaving was part of God's plan
I felt your eyes bore into mine
to tell me love is not always kind
you healed me then of all the blame
knowing I have your love help heal the pain.
