Back from Fashion Week

straight from fashion week
she flew home first class
a baby at fifteen, but cover-worthy
She has been featured on three magazine covers

We are looking for our girl
Dressed casually in sweat pants
Wearing a baseball cap
and Converse sneakers

She is causing a fuss in the airport
Wearing a designer dress
And her cover-worthy make up
We barely recognize our child

She looks twenty-three
too grown up for our own good
“Mom! Dad! “She shrieks in the way of a toddler
We feel a relief that she is back, fifteen again.
