Back Again

Back Again

Feeling low...Back lame,
Tie up shoe... Back strain,
Much emotion...must contain,
Bad back...here we go again,
Quiet body...loud brain
I miss exercise...in the main,
I live with...physical pain,
Blood pumping...body strain
Life force... in my vein.
A life’s habit...ingrained,
Lost momentum... I must retain
No relapse... I must refrain,
Mental health... I must regain,
Don’t play... the blame game,
Forgive self... no more shame,
Bad back... back again,
Body heal... body wane,
Classic cycle... chronic pain,
Start fresh... hope maintain,
Get stronger... strength remain.
