Azure Gold

Sweet dreams lead us home
To bright exotic island
Where sun and rain waltz
As toes wriggle warm white sands
And sun turns skies azure gold

Let's keep dreaming about this wonderful exotic island, Annalise. Maybe one day we'll be wriggling our toes in the sand there and stare at skies of "azure gold." Wishing you success in the contest with this amazingly exquisite tanka! Love you, Carolyn
