Awhile

And for awhile, I felt in love again
So when he didn't come back, I didn't complain
For one year was a prerogative
The only thing I have to do is think positive.

He left with no letters on the table
Nor hugs and kisses on my temple
There were no scents left on the linen
Yet he will never be forgotten.

For a day with him was already enough
What more if its 365 rough
It's too much to ask, yet he gave what I wanted
So when he did, it was a wish for granted.
