Notes About The Poem

Listen to poem:

Awaking from stupor

Written: January 16, 2024 _________________________________________ Ephemeral grave is tangled with gloom, Putting faith in ethereal womb of doom. Being without other choice but to exist, Simply succeed while enigma will persist. Decreased exertion and surrender of disgrace, Observe as contrasts come together and embrace. Lord may lift souls while they are in bliss, All sources laud benefits of imbibing happiness. Self-isolation from these events is crucial, Ample mythologically adorned quilts are brutal. Geometries persistent digits flicker and tear, When slight hints fade sparkles may flare. Say farewell to wailing, sobbing, and conflict, To grasp, be silent as if one were on a kids list. If you've had a blind tantrum, crying will ease, Manage to hold back a few tears and freeze. An ambiance that exudes the subconscious, Fosters you to shun the world's vicissitudes. To grasp the initial deeds of sane conscious, Bear tweaks to cycles, sites, and attitudes. Invoke kinetic and spatial faces of happiness. To gain and claim deep solace with meditation. When you block out snark and scrappiness Intrinsic in craziness and disgrace of attention. You feast on an evil, hedonistic world, Wealthy and potent live there, trampling poor. Individuals catapulted, coiled, and furled, To decay on edge of bliss land as a pest boar I lost focus and was just lying, living free, Blindness revealed the demon's void spree. You can't find peace if you're mired in excess, Let chaos cease, undo the knot of joy access. An ailment is reborn in recesses of mind. Once-ignored psyche is hardly idle behind. Ancient souls were rekindled—an ardent revival.
Vivid delight is now tinged with teary cheer arrival

There is so much of sagacity and practical wisdom in your words dear friend. You specifically direct how life has to be handled. Let your insights open many eyes. "Invoke kinetic and spatial faces of happiness. To gain and claim deep solace with meditation." Such practical tips are so valuable. Another stanza I loved so much is--- "Invoke kinetic and spatial faces of happiness. To gain and claim deep solace with meditation." Great penning ! Congratulations on your well deserved win !

Dearest Lasaad! Your words "undo the knot" of a soul lost in fog, blindness, "blind tantrum(s)," "the demon's void!" Terrific imagery! There is so much wisdom packed into every stanza. You carry me on a journey from numbness to "an ardent revival!" Wonderfully done, dear friend. Best wishes for the contest. I think you have a winner! Blessings of health, happiness and "cheer arrival" to you, dear friend.

Brilliant take on the prompt, dr sotto, you are right, you can let darkness shackle you and blind you and corner you to not see beyond and grasp light and joy. But dont we live in a world that is materialistic and is after temporary gold that flickers. The wisdom that flows throughout your lines is truly so very impressive! And impeccable how you’ve delivered with exquisite rhymes so rhythmic and captivating! I love every word in this as it reminds us to be mindful. And embrace light! BOL

Your poem delves into the ephemeral nature of life, using evocative language to paint a picture of the complexities and contradictions inherent in our existence. The juxtaposition of light and dark imagery, such as the "ephemeral grave tangled with gloom" and the "ethereal womb of doom," sets a contemplative tone... Great take on the theme..
