Awakening
a tale from franz kafka's novel...'the trial'
.........................................................
the door of the law...
at which a man seeks entry...
is blocked by a guard...
the man cannot pass...
the guard says wait...then maybe...
the man grows quite old...
he then offers bribes...
and sells all his possessions...
and the guard accepts...
still though no entry...
and the guard says...don't lose hope...
the sick old man waits...
then asks a question...
why none others at the door...
all these long decades...
and the guard replies...
this door...that's only for you...
now shuts forever...
the door then slammed closed...
and the old man laid and died...
thinking...why...close...door...
