Awakened Tears
As I awaken tears spill from these eyes
I question it all, please answer my why's?
Stomach churning rolling like the sea
No purpose no meaning no reason to be me.
Trying hard to let it go and keep moving through
But I am stuck scared frozen I thought u knew
Can't swallow can't breathe can't move
Nothing to show even less to prove
No path lit bright for my feet to follow
This morning as I awake I felt so hollow
Empty purged from very deep
All my confidence my courage all I could do was weep
Blank after all the lessons and trials
No sense in denying it nothing good comes from denials
Wasted lost beaten at fates game
Fate wins inevitably there's no one to Blame.
This morning when most look forward to a bright shining day
Tears spill from my soul for I have lost my way
