Wake up from the slumber
Lift up those sleep mask
Take out the ear plugs
Time to change pajamas
Christ is giving new clothes of righteous
The sunshine is here to awaken
If one stays in the dark it's on them
The alarm clock has went off
Snooze will continue to awaken with
Many different sounds and signs
As a reminder of the time spent asleep.
Embrace a newfound joy to walk outside
and see this new daily creation
Outside that one has been missing
Only revealed through Christ
To see the deception and shadows
Of death one once was sound asleep in
