Avoid It, Endure It

AVOID IT, ENDURE IT

When problems shower,
Plethora of troubles
Having a time of their
life
In your community-body,
Avoid them with
Your protective parts.

For the scorch rays
And the play from
flying birds,
Use your sun roof
To cover your head.

For flying insects,
The play from monkeys
around
And the dirty wind
blowing around,
Close the boot of your
eyes
To protect it from
blinds.

For the thunder
Who boasts of his voice
And the play of tongues
Mingling with abusive
words,
Close the window of
your ear
To protect your ear
drum.

With all these
Accumulated grievances
And your heart
Heavy with
accumulated weights,
Let no word proceed
Out of your mouth,
But lock the bonnet
Of your mouth
And give God the key.
