Autumn's Breath - Contest
The countryside is on fire
The heat of the colours
Warms the soul
The crunch of the leaves
As though had been in an inferno
Bringing delight to everyone
The orange and red leaves
Paint the trees when its cold
To bring alive your memories
Only to fall like a dead puppet
When all the strings
Have been let go
Autumn is telling us Winter is nigh
Take the warmth of me
The autumn breath of fire
Implanting reminders of walks
amidst the tropical storm
of leaves, as they say goodbye
