Autumnal - Autumnal Poetry Contest
Gorgeous sway of the leaves that fall
Whirling breeze begins to call
Shades of gold fills the streets below
The chill in air begins to flow
Blown out moist makes a clear blue sky
Time for the yearning kites to fly
Children gather along to play
It is time for a holiday
Down the streets filled with leaves of gold
Lovers walk, whether young or old
The chill in air calls warm embrace
As flowers sway with glow and grace
Daylight is short and night is long
For hearts to stay where they belong
Crops are ripe for a happy pick
A time to feast, five days a week
3rd place
