Autumn Royal
I'm quite sure that autumn is in the air.
Pumpkins now look almost ready to reap.
Beside my fire I must pull up a chair.
Amber my daughter too brings up her seat.
We savour the smell of cinnamon buns.
In total we had enough dough for six.
Ginger was also added to the mix.
After, before the sun sets crimson red.
We both will meander the woodland trails.
Perhaps take out bicycles from the shed.
Wonder of autumn beauty never fails.
Umber and red leaves falling from tall trees.
Safron is Amber's favourite colour.
I myself admit to any number.
