Autumn Rain

Autumn rain,
Falls on the window pane.

You could hear the tap, tapping on the window,
See the puddles on the sidewalk.

The tiny sparrows splash in the puddles,
Like they are bathing.

Father and I would sit on the bench and watch the sparrows,
Senior Retirement at its finest.

The rain continues reflecting the persons we miss the most,
You could hear the rain droplets.

Love like a raindrop precious and crystal clear,
Reminds me of my favorite handsome prince.

You could see God's kingdom reflected in a raindrop,
Beautiful like a picture postcard.

Walking in the rain has become dangerous,
I like to stay at home in the rain.

A dry and warm abode decorated beautifully,
Thankful to our God for the many blessings.
