Autumn Lessons

Autumn Lessons...

Millions of leaves
Falling free
Stark Naked are the trees
Devoid of all prejudice
Judgmental baggage run a spree
The yellow carpet beneath
Will soon be blown away by winds of change
Leafless branches awaiting
Sprouts of freshness green

Bareness too has a beauty of its own
Like pencil sketches on canvas true

When they fill up
and seats taken
The skeletons are sure to re-bloom

Similar is the cycle of life
A bit of joy
A shade of gloom....
