Rainy Autumn again
Crawls into the backyard
And stays there uninvited
Like a homeless cat
Looking for a shelter
Sniffing every corner
Roughly playing with
Dead leaves fallen
Throwing them all over
Like lifeless mice
Till they land slowly
On the carpet of grass
Covering the earth
With burning colors
Woven into sharp
Kaleidoscopic pattern
Ever-changing in the wind
Of the spiraling downfall
Below the veil of mist
Shy blooming flowers
Look enigmatic and lonely
Desperately holding
Summer in their little
Heart like shaped
Bright orange petals
And a faint smile
On their little faces
Begging for a break
Before the nightfall
When the last sharp
Knives like sun-rays
Disappear on the other
Side of the horizon
Putting sky on fire
Boldly announcing
The end of the day
Cold Autumn’s night
Far away rising
