Autumn leaves

We're approaching 
the middle of Autumn,  
And the trees 
are still covered in leaves. 
I'm starting to believe
in global warming. 
For in London 
it's still seventy degrees.

I've read about London in books and seen it in movies so many times, but I've never been there. I'm in Southern California, near the beach, so it doesn't get too hot for me here - the only worry is flooding in my neighborhood.
