Autumn Leaves

Raking leaves in piles Wind comes up and scatters them Will it ever end? Autumn’s labors long Autumn Leaves, a pretty song Sing it while I rake. Neighbor’s solution Do not rake the leaves at all Do not sing the song. Let wind blowing hard Scatter leaves to neighbor’s yard Not to worry now.

We once lived where the neighbors would blow their leaves into the neighbors yard for them to have to get up. Enjoyed reading your work. Sara

I wouldn't do that. Just don't think it's prudent, but it made for a nice line-up of haiku! Thanks for your comment, Sara.

haha, I must be the neighbor you write about. We never rake our leaves. Our neighbors don't either! Everything goes back to earth!!!

Super! I've never been able to figure why leaves are raked as a general rule. Doesn't Mother Nature take care of this???? Thanks for your comment.

Probably not. But, they can always let the wind blow them back over! LOL Thanks for your comment. I'm glad you read my poem.
