Autumn Forest

Cathedral woods. Sunlight streams through stained glass windows— mosaic of yellow and red. Tree pillars hold up the sky dome, wind organ whispers. Orange and crimson, sassafras and sumac light the path. On the altar in my heart the chalice overflows.

I see this old favorite of mine (of Yours!) got first place! I too used an autumn poem and finally I got a placement after a rather long dry spell in his contests. Brian seems to really like autumn poems but I've used up most of mine with him!! CONGRATS
