Autumn Constanza For Connie

Bold poet, Connie Marcum Wong
is spent. Feel gentle winds and smile
as summer’s heat breaks for a while.

Her time has come, sounds heaven’s gong.
It’s fall, and though our spirit grieves
her vibrant poems soar like leaves.

True faith in God has kept her strong;
some trees lay barren that we face
yet, she reminds us of God’s grace.

A wealth of poems, her hearth-song
can warm our brokenness and strife.
We give tribute to her new life.

Our bard now dwells mid heaven’s throng
worries of winter’s cold – no note,
we cherish reading what she wrote.

Bold poet, Connie Marcum Wong
Her time has come, sounds heaven’s gong
True faith in God has kept her strong
A wealth of poems, her hearth-song
Our bard now dwells mid heaven’s throng

Thank you Reason….. for taking part in this tribute to Connie with your beautiful Autumn Constanza. These words touched me the most. “ It’s fall, and though our spirit grieves her vibrant poems soar like leaves.” Autumn Blessings, SuZ
