Autumnal equinox arrives, reliable and cycliC;
Unerringly, the summer swansong is sung and sO
The shades of the season burst gloriously and then falL
Upon the ground in hues of gold, amber, sepia, russet and muted maraschinO.
Melancholy clouds and chills signal the advance of winteR;
Nature's iridescence: a seasonal spectacular from all that is deciduouS.
