Autumn Begins Early

A wind blew the leaves
The boughs of the trees 
Were swaying the leaves
Were dancing to and froe
One leaf was falling

Slowly to the ground 
The color of the leaf
Was a bright red shade
the autumn season
is early this year

Hello Mulu, Thank you for your nice comment. I have been busy going to therapy for my knee. I have arthritis and now i have tingling going on. So i do excises twice a day. I am now on a cane when walking. Blessings my friend. /Darlene/ 😊

I love when Autumn comes early. My favorite season. You might be clairvoyant, I think it will come early this year too. If you ever get to Wisconsin, Door County is the place to be in Autumn. Awesome poem Darlene.

Hello Michael Ramel, It is so nice to meet you Michael. I live in Canada. I saw a red leaf fall to the ground in th3e middle of August. The leave are beginning to change color. here early. Once they fall to the ground the raking begins. The door county must be crowded this time of year with visitors in Wisconsin. Your friend, /Darlene/.
