Autumn
The crushed glass candle flickers to life,
As Autumn dusk glows through my window.
Geese arrows fly breathless through many
Bare limbed mazes as the flame slowly dies.
Now all that's left for me to know is
The sidewalk is hushed and the loon's call cries.
