Autumn flew in on a jet plane
Unusually prompt and precise
Turning back the heat of summer
Under September's sky
My reminder winter is nigh
November brings snow and ice.

I like word play, and so, when I am searching for ideas, I will often turn to diamante or acrostics, although I really don't see them as genuine poetry. I know some would dispute that with me.
